Van Gogh is one of the greatest Dutch painters right after Rembrandt. But through his life, he was unknown to others. Vincent Willem Van Gogh born on March 30, 185,3 and passed away on July 29,1890. He achieved more than 2,100 works; watercolors, oil paints, drawings, and sketches. Now his paintings are one of the most high-priced in the world.

His fame only came to be after his death. More than 200 paintings, 500 drawings, and 750 written documents. All of this is kept in a museum. The Van Gogh museum opened, 1973 in Amsterdam.
